it’s a story of an ambitious little fish named oscar, who made his way to the top of the reef (believing that being on top is the only way to make a difference and be a somebody), by telling a big lie, that he killed a shark, thereby gaining a title for himself as the shark slayer. like any other goody tales, a lie needs to be exposed, no matter how many good things it has brought to the liar. and then, oscar realized in the end that he was blinded by his malcontent, by failing to see all the good things he has in front of him. and that he doesn’t have to be somebody else because there are people like angie who love him as he is.
it’s a story of acceptance. yourself and others. that we cannot be happy being someone we are not[oscar], and that we cannot impose on others what they should do or become[lino and len].
the effects are great…as colorful as nemo. a good treat for the whole family.
