Indeed an undergdog story…vince vaughn owns a wretched fitness gym while ben stiller owns a highly sophisticated one…then vince’s gym is about to be closed, and ben is gonna own the property if vince fails to pay 50 thousand bucks. together with his equally wrecthed friends, vince desperately and reluctantly agreed to join an unusual game–dodgeball tournament—with a 50-thousand-dollar price tag…to redeem the gym. as expected of an underdog story..vince’s team wins despite the odds –including the formidable ben stiller team…
there are funny scenes and some “painful” scenes too, as characters try to dodge not only balls but also a herd of hard, flying metals like pliers, and the rest of the toolbox…(but maybe not as gruesome as the toolbox murders of course…though i haven’t seen that movie because i don’t plan to…), and also dodging cars, and trucks in the middle of the street…
spoilers include a bisexual relationship, the plier-car-dodge, ben’s artificial crotch bulge, ben’s “dance number” after the movies’ ending, and maybe some more, depending on the strength of your personality..hehehe…
quite entertaining…it can make you have some good laughs, and some bad ones.
